Brunno Botteon shines at Americas Cardroom OSS

The May series delivered big wins for several Brazilian players, and not just on the “big” online poker platforms. At Americas Cardroom, the Online Super Series (OSS) is going wild, and names like Brunno Botteon are already raking in big bucks.

Using his “whatsgoingon” account, local Espírito Santo entered Event #87, US$215 No Limit Hold’em, and did very well. Brunno Botteon was stopped in the decisive heads-up to finish second out of 1,849 entrants. Still making the final table were Brazil’s “Devanir Campos” (3rd – $34,021) and “theOREOguy” (4th – $24,591 ).

Alpha’s Gerson Braga, aka “Bolivia”, represented Brazil in the $1,050 Apestyles Banana PKO with 364 players. 3rd place was eliminated and the pros took home $26,309.

In the $66 Route Championship, 295 people registered and it was ultimately the player running the account “minhapiloca” who was responsible for bringing the Brazilian flag to the top of the podium. The result earned him $19,130.
