Felipe Mojave enters final day of WSOP Event 12

A few hours after Tauan Naves lost in the Mystery Millions FT, Felipe Mojave continued the Brazilian’s good run at the WSOP heading into the final day of Event 12: $5,000 NL Hold’em Freezeout. He is now just 3 BBS behind CL Jeremy Eyer.

Mojave was alone in the lead for most of the second day, even tripling the stack of the closest opponent. The rise of the Mojave Desert began after the ITM bubble burst. Holding two aces, he doubled his stack against Venezuela’s Julio Delgado, who was left with very few chips.

Rafael Moraes, on the other hand, retired in 45th. Team PokerStars Pro won a total of $13,793.

On final day, Mojave will join two former champions of the series, pros Yuval Bronshtein and Jinho Hong, in search of his first gold bracelet.

Play will resume at 18:00 (Brasilia time) with blinds of 40,000/80,000 and ante of BB. Check the number of chips:
